Abstract
Gives importance to equality of opportunity, equity, and more recently the ideas of inclusion and exclusion in India and other countries, it is surprising that we paid very little attention to the learning context and processes that underlie and influence teaching and learning in the classroom. Understanding of the notion of diversity and respecting diversities in social, cultural, and economic aspects are needed to be incorporated from school. Inclusive classrooms, inclusive teachers and inclusive schools provides environemnt and opportunity to all learners to learn together without any socially prescribed or percieved differences such as by sex, ethnic/social origin, language, religion, nationality economic condition and ability (UNESCO Convention against discrimination in Education, 1960).
