As a direct result of COVID-19, the educational sector is rapidly adopting a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies, and there has been a proportional rise in students’ fascination with metaverse environments. The word “metaverse” refers to a fully immersive digital environment where users can interact with virtual avatars. Metaverse, along with the educational sector, offers a significant deal of untapped potential. Metaverse is a virtual world that is currently being developed by educators using Web3 as the underlying platform. Their goal is to bring students together via avatars. The revolutionary potential of Web3 is being aggressively championed by pioneers in both technology and contemporary innovation. Interactivity, immersion, and multiplicity are Metaverse’s three essential characteristics. This research tries to fill the void by creating a methodical framework for using metaverses in the classroom, taking into account the merits and limitations of such an approach. Our study’s central concern is the educational and pedagogical ramifications of incorporating the metaverse into the secondary school curriculum. This chapter introduces the main ideas behind the proposed framework and discusses how it can improve student involvement, open the door to new approaches to instruction, and ultimately affect learning results through a thorough examination of the relevant literature and case studies. Educators and policymakers who are interested in utilizing the metaverse for enhanced teaching and learning can get useful insights from this study
