Abstract
This chapter explores the pivotal role of special education in promoting environmental education, fostering heightened nature awareness, and integrating sustainable practices. It underscores the importance of inclusive environmental education, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those with disabilities. Through sensory experiences in nature and hands-on learning, special education enables a deeper connection between students and the environment. The integration of sustainable practices, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable gardening, forms the core of this inclusive education approach. By empowering students to actively engage with and apply sustainable principles in their daily lives, special education not only imparts knowledge but also instills a sense of responsibility towards environmental preservation. Ultimately, special education serves as a catalyst for nurturing environmentally conscious individuals, ensuring no one is excluded from contributing to a greener and more sustainable future
