The hotel sector uses a lot of water and electricity, which is bad for the environment, thus hotels should be more environmentally conscious to lessen their influence. Hoteliers may make significant strides toward a greener sector by encouraging environmental responsibility among their staff and guests via Organizational Citizenship Behaviors (OCBE). This research on OCBEs in India’s hospitality sector investigates the link between a green workplace culture, the environmental values of workers, and OCBEs. Findings from a survey of 285 workers at four of India’s most upscale eco-hotels show a correlation between green policies and employee values. Additionally, it was shown that a favourable correlation existed between workers’ environmental values and OCBEs. The findings of this study suggest that a green culture at work helps to link workers’ environmental beliefs to corporate citizenship and ethics. By examining the causes of workers’ OCBEs, hotel management may utilise this research to develop more eco-friendly policies and procedures
