Madhan has presented an analysis of research papers indexed in different bibliographic and citation databases and tried to determine the percentage of open-access papers in the field of Engineering. He has provided insights into the current state of open access in engineering, including preferred flavours of OA and trends in its growth and development. Additionally, he has compared these findings with open-access trends in other research fields.
