Abstract
The article aims to seek three crucial questions in space law teaching and research in India. The first query that it identifies is to search for top-rated authors in India in space law research. Second, the article will find the institutions in India that have contributed to developing space law teaching and research. Third, it will examine the existing literature on space law in India. The article uses analytical and doctrinal methods to identify the three questions mentioned above in the article. It uses available printed and electronic sources and journal articles to identify the authors, institutions and course curricula in space law. The article interviews different authors and teachers of space law to find the answer to these three legal questions. The article is divided into three segments to answer these questions. It identifies 10 writers constantly writing in space law and marks their presence in existing international space law literature. The article divides the category of space law writers into two categories. The first category of writers is those associated with the Indian Space Research Organization. The second category of writers is trained in the law, especially international law. They contribute to different international law journals and write books on space law. There are quite a few institutions, such as Jawaharlal Nehru University, the Indian Society of International Law, the National Law School of India University, the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences and the National Law School Hyderabad that trained many young minds in space law.
