Abstract
According to the World Bank, exports and imports constituted 27.08% of India’s gross domestic product in 2020.1 While most of the Republic’s trade is with other Asian countries, it also exports heavily to nations on the American and European continents.2 India’s performance has facilitated the country to grow comparably to other First World nations, such as the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Canada, and become the world’s fifth-largest economy in 2019.3 The growth in global trade is likely to increase international disputes in several areas, including commercial matters.
