Climate-induced migration and displacement are emerging as critical issues in the context of global climate change. This chapter explores the drivers, social, and economic impacts of climate-induced migration, providing future projections and scenarios to understand the scale and nature of displacement. Key drivers include extreme weather events, sea-level rise, desertification, and water scarcity. Social impacts involve disruptions to communities, changes in demographics, and health challenges, while economic impacts affect labor markets, infrastructure, and resource allocation. Case studies illustrate real-world examples and policy responses, while resilience and adaptation strategies offer insights into managing these challenges. The chapter concludes with future projections highlighting the need for comprehensive planning and international cooperation to address the anticipated increase in climate-induced displacement.
