The investment landscape is experiencing a notable shift towards non-conventional assets, specifically in the realms of technology and sustainability. This article delves into the intersection of disruptive technologies and emerging markets, offering valuable insights for investors eyeing opportunities in the 4th industrial revolution. By examining diversification challenges, particularly in times of crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic, and utilizing time-varying connectedness models to uncover the dynamic linkages among technology, green funds, and emerging markets, this study sheds light on assets like QGREEN and ROBT as crucial components of diversified portfolios. The findings presented in this research are essential for both active and passive investors looking to strategically allocate their resources in technology and sustainable assets amidst a rapidly evolving financial landscape. Understanding these dynamics is key to navigating the complexities of the current market environment and making informed investment decisions for long-term success.
