The BJP in Haryana faces an uphill task in the forthcoming assembly elections on several counts, not the least significant of which is the discontent among party workers. Granted that it is common with every party to feel the heat near election time with threats of or actual floor-crossing, but the ‘party with a difference’ experiencing this kind of discontent and on such a scale cannot be dismissed as a case of party indiscipline.
