Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the patterns and potential future directions of big data analytics in the field of entrepreneurship by doing a bibliometric analysis of 590 academic publications that were published between the years 2012 and 2023. The purpose of the study is to conduct an analysis of the publishing patterns, influential publications, and noteworthy contributions in relation to this particular subject matter. The authors, institutions, and countries that will be represented in the study are all included. The findings give researchers with significant insights into the primary study topics, helping to shed light on areas of this field that are seeing growth. Additionally, the findings offer helpful recommendations to researchers in selecting respectable journals for publication. Researchers are required to perform studies on the use of big data in growing domains of entrepreneurship. These investigations should cover topics such as fostering diversity, addressing ethical issues, safeguarding privacy, and promoting inclusiveness. In subsequent investigations, it is possible that the utilization of big data within the framework of communal decision-making procedures, as well as the incorporation of big data analytics with the current technological period, will be given priority.
