Abstract
Socio-economic challenges, limited access to basic amenities, and a sense of exclusion from mainstream society characterise the daily life experiences of inhabitants of Sheikh colonies. Lack of private space, congested houses, and unhygienic conditions underscore the pervasive nature of urban marginalisation within the colonies.
