This chapter describes the impact of frontier digital technologies on the behaviour of the state. It further explains how the state remains the main player in international politics. However, it does not dwell on the forms of power but explains how digital technologies carve out their own space in determining the state’s power. The chapter also explores India’s cyber security status and asserts that India has to be proactive in strengthening its cyber security structures. This lays the foundation for the rest of the book.
