Abstract
Stalls serving paan (betel leaf) in liquid nitrogen at weddings and fairs are a common sight, an experience that many have likely encountered or tried at least once in their lives. We, too, were enticed by the allure of trying this liquid nitrogen paan, captivated by the billowing smoke it emits when consumed. However, it was not until we delved into researching the Delhi–Gurugram restaurant scene that we realised the potential dangers posed by liquid nitrogen. Hence, we realised that it is important to raise awareness among the public regarding the hazards associated with dry ice and liquid nitrogen
