Abstract
As the world watches the relentless bombing on Gaza in what has become a live televised horror show, the great, regional and other powers calibrate their positions and plan the next steps. The people on whose blood these lines are being drawn are largely absent from this geopolitical management. The most urgent issue is for a humanitarian ceasefire so that the besieged population of Gaza can get humanitarian assistance for basic life necessities like water, food, and medicines, which have been blocked by Israel for almost a month
