Abstract
Recently, on 4 May 2022, the Supreme Court of India postponed the Haryana Judicial Services (HJS) Mains Exam, which was to be held from 6 to 8 May 2022. The postponement was given on account of the clash of dates between HJS Mains and the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Preliminary Examination—2022. At the first instance, it looks like a routine administrative matter, but if looked at carefully, it brings out the serious inconsistencies in the recruitment process and its harmful impact on the candidates. Therefore, this matter requires to be established as a point of conversation considering the soaring unemployment numbers and pending cases in our judicial system.
