Abstract
On the occasion of entering the 75th year of independence, it is natural that we look back and evaluate the direction and progress of the country in many areas and take lessons from history for the future. Along with democracy, federal structure, social status, economic status, and cultural environment in the last 75 years, foreign policy is also an important issue on which we should introspect. There can be no independent 'nation-state' whose existence is not based on its role in international forums. India is what it is today, not only because of internal developments but also because of its position in the world.
