Abstract
The exchange of resources, technology and knowledge between the countries of the global South with the aim of accelerating development has gained new momentum in recent years. South-South cooperation has established itself as an important tool for the transfer, adaptation, and scaling of what works in promoting development, based on the experiences of those countries with similar levels of development and facing similar challenges. As such, South-South cooperation complements traditional cooperation, based mainly on the transfer of financial resources from the North to the South. However, most South-South cooperation focuses on government entities, acting as providers and receivers of knowledge, thereby overlooking the potential contribution that non-state actors can make to international development, particularly government entities. from the private sector
