Abstract
The world is turning its attention to India for the steps it has taken in a little over five years towards re-invigorating the IP and digital imagination in the country. There have been a galore of defining moments in India, starting with the Make in India Initiative in 2014; E-Governance Policy Initiatives under Digital India, 2015; the National IPR Policy in 2016; the National Digital Communications Policy, 2018 and the National Innovation and Startup Policy for Students and Faculty, 2019. Broadly these policy measures and initiatives have been towards generating IP in India, promoting research and development, the growth of Startups by enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship related activities and laying down the architecture of the plausible 5G connectivity for improving the Digital Economy in India.
