Abstract
In this response paper, we will analyse what has been put forth in the readings named: a) State Sovereignty and the Legitimacy of the WTO by Joshua Meltzer ; and b) Reconstruing WTO Legitimacy Debates by Michael Fakhri . These two readings are mainly focussed on the legitimacy of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and what constitutes the legitimacy of WTO, what should happen in the absence of the WTO etc.
Overall what we aim to analyse here is whether the WTO is crucial in eroding the domestic law of the concerned states and whether the WTO is worth the submission that it receives from the respective states.
