Abstract
Modern management needs more strategic planning to achieve business goals. The
aim of this paper is to see how strategically Project Management implementation aligns to achieve business goals. What factors decide the project success and organizational successful? What are the needs of the project management office so as to make key polices for the project and strategically use the resources available. Most project jobs are process-based; project teams’ keener on achieving daily target thus overlooking the achieving of business goals. Today’s organizations are more focused on the output, rather than focusing on the process to achieve the output. As such, the strategic conversion of vision and mission of the company to form organizational goals becomes vital. The paper examines the critical need of identifying project
strategic factors that helps a project manager reframe the project goals vis-à-vis that of the organization.
