Abstract
This article explores the various dimensions of conditionalities in GSP schemes, including their legitimacy, by examining the European Communities (EC)-Tariff Preferences case. It also looks at the stand of the various players involved in the entire process that includes the preference-granting and preference-receiving countries as well as the WTO.
