Abstract

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi for Prison reforms, “Crime is the outcome of a diseased mind and jail must have an environment of hospital for treatment and care.” The Indian prison system has received considerable government attention because of its infamous cruel and inhumane conditions in recent years.
