Abstract
Through this book, the authors have attempted to bridge the gap between knowledge and intervention to reinstate the prevalence of depression. With the advent of new technology and generation, there lies a great challenge for mental health professionals in modern society. The importance of understanding the complexities of the human mind and behavior needs to be better interpreted in academia and society and not be limited to a few disciplines. It makes an effort to achieve a culture of eloquence surrounding depression – in people's everyday lives or workplaces or societies. The book strives to create a sense of openness, flexibility, and sensitivity in making depression a normal dialogue in modern society.
