Abstract
This chapter explores three related theories of leadership transformational, servant, and distributed leadership in the context of inclusive systems thinking. The chapter is based on empirical research and theoretical frameworks in the field of organizational psychology, education, and public administration and how these models can promote equity, psychological safety, and collective efficacy in various institutions. Transformational leadership is discussed in terms of its ability to inspire vision and encourage systemic change; servant leadership is discussed in terms of its focus on well-being of followers and ethical stewardship; and distributed leadership is discussed in terms of its ability to democratize decision-making and use collective intelligence. Comprising these views, the chapter suggests that a comprehensive synthesis of all the three models offers the strongest platform to creating inclusive, adaptive, and resilient organizations that can address the challenges of the twenty-first century.
