The escalating demand for robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, coupled with the urgent need for sustainable operations, has exposed the severe limitations of traditional manual methods. This chapter explores the transformative synergy of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Computing in automating and enhancing corporate sustainability. It demonstrates how this convergence automates the entire ESG reporting lifecycle- from intelligent data ingestion to audit- ready assurance- transforming it from a compliance burden into a strategic asset. Furthermore, it details how AI-driven analytics enable “green operations” by optimizing energy use, building smart supply chains, and facilitating proactive maintenance. Finally, the chapter addresses critical implementation considerations, including a strategic roadmap and the ethical imperatives required to navigate this technological shift responsibly and effectively.
