Abstract
This study explores the transformative role of Blockchain Technology (BT) in healthcare, emphasizing its potential to improve data security, transparency, and operational efficiency. Using a qualitative approach with expert interviews, the research highlights the benefits and challenges of BT adoption, including issues related to interoperability, regulation, and cost. It also examines how BT can work alongside robotics to enhance healthcare delivery, from robotic surgeries to secure logistics. BT contributes to healthcare by protecting electronic health records, maintaining clinical trial integrity, automating administrative tasks, and improving supply chain transparency. However, high implementation costs and complex regulations hinder widespread use. The study calls for collaborative, user-focused solutions to overcome these barriers. While limited by a small sample and a theoretical scope, the research offers valuable insights into BT’s potential. It recommends future studies with larger, diverse samples and quantitative methods to validate BT’s impact. Ultimately, the study underscores the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and suggests that integrating BT with technologies like AI and IoT could significantly advance healthcare systems.
