Abstract

The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing is fundamentally redefining managerial decision- making. This chapter explores the paradigm of AI-augmented leadership, where human intuition is synergistically combined with algorithmic intelligence to navigate an increasingly complex business environment. It argues that the leader's role is evolving from a solitary decider to a designer of intelligent decision- making processes. The analysis deconstructs the foundational triad of AI, cloud infrastructure, and the modern leader's evolving skillset. It then presents a practical framework for augmented decision- making, spanning enhanced situational awareness, generative optioneering, and data- informed judgment. The chapter culminates in a critical examination of the profound managerial, ethical, social, and practical implications, asserting that while AI provides powerful capabilities, the ultimate responsibility for wise and ethical judgment remains a uniquely human imperative.
