Abstract

We propose a comprehensive worldview based on the emerging literatures of quantum-like framework (QLF), and complex adaptive systems (CAS), with their significant contributions in social sciences. QLF and CAS are inspired by the quantum information theory and complexity science, but are not reductionist approaches, for example, we do not posit any underlying physical quantum mind-brain hypothesis, but treat individual and societal decision-making processes as better described by philosophical and mathematical principles of quantum information theory. We provide different examples to support our worldview and discuss the potential synergies between QLF and CAS, with their deeper implications for value systems, and systemic planetary challenges.
