Abstract

This study proposes testing and improving critical thinking using metaverse technologies. The suggested method uses participant performance data and subjective judgments to generate a whole critical thinking index. Start with task-level data collection, then move on to more difficult mathematical operations to increase scores and track long-term improvement. Hypothesis testing, variance analysis, and data smoothing are used to verify critical thinking changes. The final stage organizes data into brain groups and simplifies it by grouping performance levels by thresholds, providing relevant information for better instruction. Results include a complete comparison of six instructional techniques and the Metaverse-based architecture. Lectures and blended learning don't promote advanced cognitive skills like problem-solving, analytical thinking, and creativity so well. However, the Metaverse framework outperforms current techniques in all significant ways. The evidence suggests it could engage kids, improve cognitive processing, and improve creativity, decision-making, and problem-solving. This essay concludes that Metaverse-based instruction is better for teaching critical thinking.
