Abstract

The National Security Strategy released by the Donald Trump-led United States is as much an announcement of major shifts in US foreign policy as much as it is an unabashed acceptance of an interventionist intent. While the NSS intends to be a guiding framework for Trump’s second term, it is also an extension of Trump’s rhetoric of retrieving the global position of the US.
