Abstract
The purpose of this article is to identify the impact of the corona virus on the international relations of India. International affairs have played a key role in the advancement of India as a world power. It is crucial to methodically unpack the various intellectual sources that India has contributed to this field as one moves beyond the worldviews and influences of leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, and Rabindranath Tagore to assess the concepts and global significance of individuals like Veer Savarkar and Subhash Chandra Bose. The major identified themes of impact identified in the study impacting international relations were, the past international relations, Indian relations with foreign countries during the corona virus outbreak, the impact of corona virus on India’s foreign policy, and Indian relations with foreign country post the outbreak of corona virus. After corona virus outbreak, it is unlikely that Indian foreign policy will continue as usual because there will not be enough diplomatic space for ambitious foreign policy objectives. But India being the least integrated region of the world might have been given just such a chance by Covid-19. The findings of this study will have implications for policy-making bodies across the world.
