Abstract

Ever found yourself wondering why people react the way they do or what drives people to behave in a certain manner? Read People Like a Book is a novel that helps individuals to understand people. This book provides novel insights about the drivers and motivations of the behaviour and explains how to interpret the body language, face expressions, and postures to understand people. Additionally, the book provides different mechanisms that can be used to identify that a person is trying to deceive you. This book also explains about the different personality types using well-established personality theories. Although the primary purpose of this book is to help the audience to build strong interpersonal relationships and prevent themselves from being deceived, the scope is not limited to it. The understanding of human behaviour can be used by marketers to understand the consumer behaviour and accordingly devise their marketing strategies. The primary objective of this book review is to explain how understanding of this book can be useful for marketers to enhance the engagement, loyalty, and conversions.
