Abstract

In the evolving innovation landscape, understanding public opinions is important for shaping the trajectory of technological development, influencing the adoption of emerging technologies (ET), and developing policies that can reflect societal values and address public concerns. This study employs structural topic modeling and sentiment analysis to analyze public opinion on X (formerly Twitter). This study identifies six latent topics related to ET. Findings suggest that people are willing to adopt ET. This research bridges computational modeling and policy analysis, offering evidence-based insights. The study provides data-driven recommendations for policymakers and academics to address emerging digital challenges.
