Abstract
The next step in Israel’s diabolical plan of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people is the military occupation of Gaza City, announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with support from his security cabinet (8 August 2025) and green lighted by President Donald Trump. This implies forced displacement of Palestinian civilians from north Gaza into central camps—a move that violates international humanitarian law and escalates the ongoing genocide.
United Nations (UN) offi cials, including the spokesperson of UN chief António Guterres, describe the humanitarian crises in Gaza as “beyond catastrophic.” After months of indiscriminate bombing and forced displacement with thousands of Gazans killed, of which almost one-third were children, the Israeli bloodlust remains unsatisfi ed and conditions for starvation in Gaza are rife. Independent experts call the situation a planned famine. Reports from the global hunger monitors reveal that the “worst-case scenario of famine is currently playing out in the Gaza Strip,” and “widespread death” is predicted if there is no immediate action.
