Abstract
The President of India through an ordinance[1] dated November 4, 2020, made amendments to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[2] (“the Act”), and on February 4, 2021, it was introduced as a bill in the Lok Sabha and was passed on February 12, 2021, by a voice vote.
