Abstract

The purpose of the study to identify factors related to mutual fund performance and how these factors affect the satisfaction level of the investors of mutual fund in India. To achieve the objectives of the study data was collected through the self-structured questionnaire and before applying factors analysis and multiple regression, reliability was checked. Data was collected from the individuals who invest in the mutual fund. After applying factor analysis four factors were identified i.e. return, flexibility, the security associated with mutual fund and level of satisfaction. And after multiple regression, it was found that return, flexibility, and security have a significant impact on the level of satisfaction. That means if there are good returns, flexibility and low risk in any scheme of mutual fund that will attract more to the investors. So if any mutual fund company wants to launch a new scheme that can be considered these factors for the maximum satisfaction of the investors.
