Abstract

This paper will begin with an examination of information available regarding CPEC’s various deliverables. This research will then be synthesized with analytical views of leading experts on China, U.S.-Chinese relations, foreign investments, and India-Pakistan relations from Washington and beyond. Information and data will be collated from news reports and official statistics available from relevant ministries dealing with the corridor’s implementation. An argument will then be made that CPEC could be a stabilizing factor between India and Pakistan provided that incremental trade between both countries continues unabated.
