Abstract

South Asia has a low level of financial inclusion. Each country in the region works to advance financial inclusion, with a particular emphasis on the unbanked. Financial inclusion entails the participation of all segments of society in banking, including penetration, banking services, and banking usage. The purpose of this article is to examine the financial inclusion dynamics in South Asian countries. Secondary data of financial inclusion index, ranging from 2005 to 2017, is utilized to examine the yearly performance of South Asian economies. data from the World Bank's Findex Survey were used to assess Asian countries' performance on a year-by-year basis. The index in question is based on the data from 214 developing and developed economies.
