In today’s world, with the advancing speed and scale of data processing, it is becoming increasingly difficult to protect one’s personal information. There is also the problem of optimal transparency and understanding as individuals may not be fully informed about what entities do with their data. Even if individuals are provided detailed information in privacy policies, individuals may not read privacy policies because it is inconvenient. This is partly because of the legalistic language used in such documents, the long length of such documents, and the complexity involved. Ultimately, the individual is in a position where they share personal data but do not know how it will be processed.
