Abstract

This essay contributes to the theme of ‘Global South Redux’ by critically examining some of the structural changes in the developing world, including its internal differentiation and the difficulty of constructing united fronts against the ‘developed North’. It facilitates a more sophisticated understanding of the strategic diversity in the Global South and the growing prospects for strategic collaboration with the great powers of the North amid the renewed contestation among them.
