Abstract

Based on 5S theory this chapter look at how democratic style of leadership influences organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB) in Ethiopia's healthcare industry, depicting the function of culture of organization as a mediator. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure is used in the investigation to evaluate the sample's suitability, with a sample size of 390 healthcare workers. To validate the measurement model, confirmatory factor analysis, or CFA, is used. To look at the connections among the determinants, AMOS software is used for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The outcomes depict that by generating a affirmative corporate culture, democratic style of leadership greatly augments OCB. This culture, which is marked by cooperation, respect for one another, and shared values, serves as an indispensable mediator, encouraging workers to go above and beyond the call of duty. The investigation emphasizes the value of leadership philosophies that augment inclusivity and engagement in decision-making, since this fosters a productive work atmosphere.
