Abstract

The chapter addresses the impacts of the business ethical modeling on the sustainability of entrepreneurs who operate in healthcare projects on the mediating role of transformational form of leadership. The outputs show that business ethical modeling is a viable method of enhancing the sustainability of an entrepreneur in healthcare related businesses since it builds a culture of trust and integrity. One of the mediators, which facilitate the effects of ethical practices on the sustainability outcomes, is transformational form of leadership. Transformational type of leaders can develop their teams to adopt ethical practices as the team will be motivated by the leaders and the production will be a positive innovation, patient satisfaction and overall effectiveness of the venture. The chapter can be applied to the existing literature to highlight the process of assimilation of ethics, leadership, and sustainability in the healthcare sector. It carries implications based on practical output to the entrepreneurs operating in healthcare ventures.
