Abstract

Two recent laws on mental and physical disabilities stress autonomy, inclusion, and non-discrimination. Yet, they rarely intersect in aid of those living with both intellectual and psychiatric disabilities or those for whom self-care and decision-making is impossible due to cognitive challenges.
