Abstract

The Supreme Court of Nepal is the highest Court in Nepal; it acts as the guardian of the Constitution of Nepal: 20 September 2015 (Nepal) and is responsible for the protection of human rights. It has appellate jurisdiction over seven High Courts and extraordinary jurisdiction. Presently, there are a total of seven High Courts along with nine permanent Benches and two temporary Benches of the High Court, and a total of 75 District Courts.
